Our history
During a combined 35 years of consulting, Solidatus Co-Founders, Philip Dutton and Philip Miller, noticed a consistent pattern of data management problems. Projects taking far longer than they should, mind-bending complexity, low confidence in data… sound familiar?
Knowing that there had to be a better way, the idea for Solidatus came about, and it was first and foremost designed as a practitioner’s tool to help accelerate the projects our Co-Founders were tasked with on a daily basis.
Engineered and launched in February 2017, it very quickly became clear that the tool would have a far greater impact than first envisioned.
Solidatus today
Since 2017, Solidatus has become a world-leading data management solution, chosen by the world’s most data rich and regulated organizations for its game-changing visualization capabilities and ability to rapidly speed up data projects.
In 2021, we raised $19.2m in a Series A funding round led by Albion VC with participation from strategic investors Citi and HSBC.
In 2022, we launched our US headquarters in Houston, Texas, and our team has grown to over 100 of the best and brightest, and continues to expand. We’ve won ten industry awards in 2022 alone, including Waters Technology’s ‘Best Sell-Side Data Management Solution’, and were named in Deloitte’s Fast 50 for the second year in a row.

Philip is Co-Founder and CEO of Solidatus. Philip is a Senior System Architect and Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience within Financial Services. He’s a thought leader in the Fintech/Regtech sectors and passionate about revolutionizing the data economy.
Daniel Waddington
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel has been the principal programmer for Solidatus since the company’s inception. Today, Daniel fulfills the role of Chief Technology Officer, mapping the vision for Solidatus into a delivery roadmap, while leading the engineering team in London.
Wayne Giddens
Chief Financial Officer
Wayne is a results-focused CFO with 25+ years of experience growing, scaling, and selling fast-growth start-ups, VC-backed and privately-owned businesses such as Pusher, reed.co.uk, Virgin Active and Massive.
Sheldon Feinland
Vice President, Global Sales
Sheldon manages Solidatus’ rapidly expanding global sales team. An accomplished global software solution leader, he holds expertise in compliance, cybersecurity, digital forensics, risk, business intelligence and analytics.
Mary Anne Bullock
Vice President, Strategy
Mary Anne has over 20 years’ experience, with a strong focus on designing and implementing strategic change through the use of transformative data management. She is helping to design innovative solutions using the Solidatus product, building the Solidatus community and contributing thought leadership to the data management industry.
Mark Rhodes
Vice President, Global Marketing
Mark has held senior-level marketing and commercial positions in technology organizations for 20 years. Recent experiences include marketing leadership for a major digital recruitment brand and overseeing the European operation of a US legal tech business.
